The Brickery – Over 300 combined years of brick making.

We come from a proud lineage of brick makers in New Zealand and Australia with a design driven collection of clay bricks sourced from around the world.

Our Story starts with Monier bricks who can trace its heritage in New Zealand back to 1862 when it commenced manufacturing in New Lynn, Auckland. The strong brick lineage in Australia is equally as long and proud with Brickworks and the Austral Brick Company, a long and unbroken history that stretches back to 1908.

Today we are the largest brick distributor in New Zealand with our partners Brickworks and CSR and their brands Austral, Monier, Cemintel and PGH Bricks and Pavers. We have over 50 staff and four showrooms across New Zealand supporting the specification and distribution of millions of New Zealand’s largest clay brick range, including basic clay brick ranges, architecturally driven ranges, & international clay bricks.

The Brickery is the next chapter in the Austral Bricks and Monier Bricks joint venture and we are proud to present this natural building option, providing sustainable cladding which is cost effective, long lasting and low maintenance.
