Avanda Airfields Development

Case Study Description

One of Auckland's newest developments, 'Airfields Quarters' at Hobsonville, is second to none in design and product selection quality. Airfields is a neighbourhood comprising almost 900 homes, developed to a master plan that balances and harmonises all elements within the neighbourhood, and takes into consideration neighbouring precincts also.

Two palettes were created by designer Andrea Burney to offer prospective buyers - a neutral palette to which the buyer can add their own bold touches, and a more dramatic scheme with lots of warmth and contrast. The show suite has been completed in the 'Dusk B' scheme which has proven popular with buyers. The dark Sintra tiled kitchen splashback by Tile Warehouse adds pattern and texture to the scheme, adding a touch of earthiness to the interiors. Blending in beautifully to the tiles are the Iconic Anthracite switchplates by PDL by Schneider Electric. Durable Silestone benchtops in Gris Expo coupled with Dezignatek Wolfram Grey cabinetry, handles by Archant, tapware by Robertson and sink by Burns & Ferrall cap off the kitchen beautifully and provide a perfect neutral backdrop to the timber-look Dezignatek wall cabinets. All set upon stunning Etowah engineered timber floors by Creative Flooring and surrounded by Resene Half Black White walls, this show suite truly creates a stunning space in which buyers can experience what their future home could be.
