Sonyx 101
Product Description
Resene Sonyx 101 is a member of a new generation family of waterborne coatings optimised for superior toughness, durability and adhesion, combined with superb flowing good looks.
Colour: Selected Resene Total Colour System, including BS5252, Multi-Finish, Whites & Neutrals and The Range.
Typical uses:
- Block and brickwork
- Concrete
- Fibre cement
- G.R.C. panels
- Primed galvanised steel
- Primed timber
- Solid plaster
- Wallboards.
Performance:
1. Ideal coating for exterior cementitious substrates.
2. Excellent intercoat adhesion.
3. Excellent adhesion to Resene primers - refer Data Sheet.
4. Excellent durability in high U.V. environments. Performance may be further enhanced by overcoating with Resene Multishield+ (see Data Sheet D54a).
5. An Environmental Choice approved product.
Limitations:
1. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when it is liable to drop below 10°C during the drying period.
2. Not designed for direct to metal applications.
3. Will not penetrate chalky and powdery surfaces.
4. Not normally used on opening sashes and doors (use Resene Lustacryl - see Data Sheet D310). Resene decorative coatings are tinted using unique Resene non VOC tinters enabling you to achieve the desired colour without added VOCs.
