Product Description
For the sake of simplicity, and to minimise labour on site, Metalcraft fence posts and rails are stocked in fixed lengths. Working to these dimensions wherever possible will minimise the amount of material required, and thereby minimising the costs.
Our Prepainted steel posts and rails are robust enough to eliminate the need for intermediate rails common to timber fencing. This affords clean lines and a tidy look on both sides of the fence. The strength of steel is also beneficial for its resilience and durability; it will not warp or move over time. A further advantage is that Colorsteel fencing eliminates the extra time and costs associated with post painting which is typical of other fencing options.
Our posts are available in fixed lengths to suit standard fence heights of 1.5m or 1.8m. Allowing for 600mm post hole depth, the overall post lengths are 2.1m or 2.4m (this is the maximum length available).
The Standard rail dimension is 2.33m, which is the width of three overlapping fence sheets. This is the recommended panel size, however rails can be easily cut down to whatever lengths are required to suit individual requirements.
