Paint Effects Medium
Product Description
Resene Paint Effects Medium is a tintable acrylic used to obtain a variety of broken paint finishes, such as Ragging, Sponging and Limewash Effect. Resene Paint Effects Medium is always used in conjunction with a basecoat tinted to a selected colour. The choice of basecoat will depend whether it is an interior or exterior application. Resene Paint Effects Medium provides the end user with a unique alternative to traditional wallcoverings offering an infinite number of colour combinations.
Typical uses:
- Blockwork
- Concrete
- Fibre cement
- G.R.C. panels
- Primed timber
- Solid plaster
- Wallboards.
Colour: Mix with any Resene solid colour testpot for thousands of colour options.
Performance:
1. Excellent adhesion to Resene waterborne basecoats.
2. Excellent durability in high U.V. environments. Performance may be further enhanced by overcoating with Resene Multishield+ (see Data Sheet D54a).
3. An Environmental Choice approved product.
Limitations:
1. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when it is liable to drop below this during the drying period.
2. Not designed for direct to metal applications.
3. Will not penetrate chalky and powdery surfaces.
4. Not normally used on opening sashes and doors.
5. Must be used in conjunction with a waterborne basecoat. Please ensure the current Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet are consulted prior to specification or application of product.
