Concrete Wax
Product Description
Resene Concrete Wax is a tough waterborne satin glaze for use on concrete floors and benchtops. Scratches can be easily repaired with a light sand, feathering of the edges and overcoating to keep the surface in good condition.
Typical uses:
• Concrete benchtops,
• Concrete floors.
Performance:
1. Excellent intercoat and substrate adhesion.
2. Excellent water-whitening resistance.
3. Non-yellowing.
4. Resistant to chipping and peeling.
5. Resistant to oil and fat splashes.
6. Resistant to alkaline cleaners.
Limitations:
1. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when it is liable to drop below 10°C during the drying period.
2. When sanding is required use fine wet and dry sandpaper with water.
3. Not recommended for exterior use.
4. Will not penetrate or reinforce weak surfaces.
5. Designed for horizontal surfaces, not vertical or inverted surfaces.
6. Areas coated with this product unmodified may not comply with New Zealand Building Code D1 3.3(d). Refer also to New Zealand Building Code D1 2.0 table 2.
7. To achieve maximum coating life remove shoes with spiked or damaging heels before walking on a floor coated with Resene Concrete Wax.
8. Not recommended for use on surfaces subject to vehicular traffic, e.g. garage floors or similar.
