Smartspec launches two-way Keynoting

In response to requests from valued subscribers, this month Smartspec released Smartspec Keynotes, a two-way Keynoting plugin for ArchiCAD users.

Smartspec Keynotes allows architects and designers to annotate their drawings in ArchiCAD with notes from Smartspec. This effectively connects ArchiCAD, one of the most-used architectural drawing platforms in the world, with Smartspec.

Smartspec Keynotes’ unique two-way syncing delivers a huge step forward for the industry. For architects and designers it means that changes made to notes in ArchiCAD will update, once synced, directly in Smartspec. Smartspec is currently the only specification tool on the market in New Zealand that offers this functionality.

Ian Watt, General Manager for Construction Marketing Services, the parent company behind Prodcutspec + Smartspec, says, “We are continually developing Smartspec in response to feedback from the specifier community. We value the relationship we have with our loyal Smartspec subscribers, and it’s great to see that we’ve been able to deliver on one of the most consistent requests we receive. We are also thrilled we are able to offer the Smartspec Keynotes plugin to our subscribers at no additional cost.”
