Last month we launched our new Productspec website, Australasia’s largest product and BIM library for the specifier community.
The new product library makes it even easier for Kiwi specifiers to find and download up-to-date product information, including over 33,000 product, technical, BIM and CAD files.
Productspec includes thousands of leading construction sector brands under 26 categories. Information hosted on the site includes product brochures, technical specifications, compliance and warranty information, as well as over 18,000 BIM and CAD files.

Not only does the website host the largest number of BIM and CAD files of any industry library in New Zealand, but these files are now even easier for specifiers to access”, says General Manager of Productspec and Construction Marketing Services, Ian Watt. Ian continues: “It’s great to be behind a product library that’s been developed specifically for the industry, with information we know specifiers are seeking.”
Productspec operates hand-in-hand with Smartspec, an industry-leading online specification tool. Both businesses sit under the Construction Marketing Services umbrella, an industry organisation that connects suppliers with the architecture, design, specifier and trade communities.
Productspec is free to use and available in English and Mandarin Chinese.
