Product Description
StoTherm Masonry Insulation System is an exterior insulating and finishing system for concrete masonry, in-situ or pre-cast concrete walls. consisting of 40 to 60 mm thick EPS StoTherm Panels or StoTherm+ panels which increase R-Values by up to a further 20%.
StoTherm Insulation Panels are fixed with anchors over concrete block to prevent any thermal bridging. The panels are basecoated and levelled to provide a thick solid plaster base for additional reinforcement, StoArmat render plus StoMesh. StoArmat is cement-free, ready-to-use, high elasticity render, providing maximum crack and shock resistance then that of six times of cement based products. While the Glass fibre mesh is an alkali-resistant reinforcing mesh with absolutely uniform force absorption and reliably dissipates tensile and shear stress. The façade is then finished with the perfect interlocking components: Stolit finishing render plus a Sto coating of choice.
Installations are carried out by a Sto Registered Licensed Building Practitioner with the added protection of a StoArmat 15 or 20 Year Warranty and StoService Assurance, guaranteeing building code compliant materials are used and application meets building code standards, including a service plan for long-term security.
