Veneer or sawn wood for furniture, Knotty Oak is used for panelling and sophisticated interior architectural woodwork, for parquet floors and staircases.
The heartwood knotty oak veneer comes on Birch plywood core. It is light brown to yellow-brown and darkens with age. Small, clean knots are black filled to produce a smooth surface.
Oak can be treated with any type of surface finish.
