Waterware have recently introduced an exciting technology to the New Zealand market. Active Ceiling is a heating and cooling solution designed for residential builds, using radiant heating technology. The system can be powered by either diesel or gas boilers, as well as air-to-water heat pumps.
Panels are installed in the ceiling cavity and radiantly heat and cool the home, working in a similar manner to how the sun warms the earth. This is a highly efficient operation; with no noise generation, air or dust circulation and significantly lower CO2 emissions than other heating systems. Designed to increase comfort and decrease the stress of living and sleeping environments, it’s also highly effective for allergy sufferers.
Active Ceiling is a complete technology; replacing underfloor heating, radiators and other heating and cooling appliances in the home. Active Ceiling for commercial installations will be available in late 2019.
Waterware has been in the business for nearly 30 years, working with leading manufacturers to bring the best products and solutions to New Zealand shores.
