The Gooseneck Sink Mixer has been engineered with COLDStart technology. Regular mixers normally have the mixed hot/cold position at the top, but with COLDStart, the cold water setting is at the top - which means you only turn on cold water when the lever is in the upright start position, resulting in reduced hot water consumption.
An added benefit of the Coldstart feature is because the lever doesn’t get pushed back during operation, the mixer to be installed closer to the wall, making it ideal renovations and for butler’s-pantries and kitchens with less room.
